So a few weeks ago a friend come over and we had a freezer cooking day. Unfortunately I did not think to get pictures, but as I hope to be doing this regularly maybe I will be able to post about it next time. Alyssa is also doing quite a bit of Italian cooking lately. She received an authentic Italian cookbook as a gift and has been amazing us with her creations. Maybe I can talk her into posting. Also some of the younger gentleman in our group made turkey burgers the other day. Next time they cook I will remember the pics! When I get some more time I will post some freezer recipes, but as those of you who know me are aware, I have been a little bit busy lately! Anyway, be on the look out for more posts this Christmas Season, and keep warm!

Tonights Dinner
This past evening I had the joy of making dinner for the family. I am trying to make meals with things we have instead of always buying ingredients. I found some basic items and made the following recipe.
1. Brown 1 lb fresh beef sausage,
2. Cut 1/2 head of fresh cabbage into 4-6 pieces
3. Lightly steam cabbage until tender
4. Add cabbage to sausage and sprinkle in about 1 tsp. italian seasoning
5. Serve hot
Serving Suggestions
1. Serve with shredded cheddar as garnish
2. Serve over rice or pasta
3. Make a light fruit side to go with this meal

It went over well. Of course my picky eaters were not home, so I don't know if they would have liked it! This took about 20 minutes from start to finish. If you try it, let me know how you like it!
